As a former Guardian ad Litem, I don’t have any expectation of the Catholic Church or the Protestant Church, beyond a perfunctory slap on the wrist, regarding pederasty and child sexual abuse. Why? When Christ was crucified, did Roman society accept virile soldiers and citizens having catamites or was “Don’t ask, don’t tell” the moral plat du jour? Throughout the history of Catholicism, have not priests and popes alike engaged in fornication and homosexuality? Many Christians may not recognize that sexual expression is the prima facie evidence of their spiritual allegiance to obey or disobey GOD. Stated differently, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. If so, then our courts and correctional system actually may “protect the guilty” as a function of social hierarchy vis-a-vis the expendability of children as prey. As a ministry of sexual healing, VICE believes that all of Homo sapiens exist in a physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual body. Therefore, sexual perversion is one of Satan’s most powerful weapons of mass destruction of our spiritual purity. Stated differently, guys, we either obey or disobey GOD via the choice to engage in sexual expression and partnership with a male or a female. One could argue that the desire to disobey GOD began in the Garden of Eden when the serpent induced Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. IF homosexuality or lesbianism is an innocuous alternate lifestyle, then why not allow high school students to ferret the Scriptures to test the veracity of such “politically correct” ideology? Perhaps, our failure to do so affirms that we are not a Christian nation at all. After all, II Timothy 2 encourages Christians to study in order to rightly divide the Word of truth. Toward enlightening America’s Youths, John 8 declares, “Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” Thus, members of VICE who never attend our workshops still can discern the chasm between politically correct immorality and God’s commandments via such erudition. Indeed, GOD loves all of His children and wants to set us free from the sins and weights that so easily beset us.
