Sex Is a Major Reason Military Commanders Are Fired

Any nation that vacates GOD’s commandments, by default, becomes ungodly. Ergo, in a nation wherein “In God We Trust” has become a mere creed on the money upon which it is printed, I am not surprised by the ubiquity of sexual immorality in virtually every institution in the United States. For example, you can find sexual debauchery in our nation’s prisons, juvenile facilities, churches, high schools, kindergartens, youth centers, colleges, courts, casting couches, corporations, families, and military bases. Likewise, the Bible is replete with a plethora of men who wrestled with their concupiscence [i.e., Samson, King David, Absalom, the Apostle Paul, King Solomon] and ultimately disobeyed God. C’est la vie. Yet, few synagogues, temples, mosques, or churches dare to provide a transparent and thorough sex education for horny adolescents and young adults. IF religious leaders are silent about sexuality, then is it not a reasonable expectation that our progeny will make unnecessary sexual mistakes? Rather than to judge or to condemn anyone, VICE proffers a Biblically correct textbook in sex education that is far more transparent and thorough than anything you will find in a college or Christian bookstore! Concomitantly, VICE’s FREE workshops provide “less than perfect men” a nurturing milieu wherein members can remove our fig leaves, grab our family jewels, and honestly deal with our “guy stuff” without condemnation, retribution, or shame. In all fairness, guys, I never have served in the US military. Yet, all of us must accept the consequences of that pistol in our pocket firing only after we pointed it and pulled the trigger. Ergo, in this course we will examine the Scriptures vis-a-vis the relationship between an Army officer and his twelve year old son, Junior. Hopefully, each of us can and will become better husbands, fathers, coaches, cops, mentors, etc., via supplanting our sexual vices with virtues. WE can’t fix it IF we can’t face it, inconsequential to whatever it is.
