If Blackwater Can Threaten the State Department, Then Who’s Really Calling the Shots?

Any nation that vacates GOD’s commandments, by default, is ungodly. Thus, in a nation wherein “In God We Trust” has become a mere creed on the money upon which it is printed, none should be surprised by the proliferation of ungodliness and evil in Big Brother’s totalitarian regime. For example, if Blackwater can threaten the State Department, then who’s really calling the shots? If there is no accountability for US soldiers’ war crimes throughout the Middle East, as this article implies, then Heaven help us all. Perhaps, neither Congress nor the Commander in Chief ultimately decides who, what, when, and where we bomb sovereign nations in order to seize control of their oil and other valuable natural resources. Philosophically, is it more virtuous to spend $500,000,000 [million] providing food and basic shelter for our nation’s homeless or $5,000,000,000,000 [trillion] for endless global warfare 6,000 miles away? In a world wherein there always will be wars and rumors of wars, I strongly encourage philosophy and political science majors to read the entire Bible and to closely watch the relationship between the “official” government of the United States and the “official” government of the anti-Christ. Below is what I call Christ’s abridged “State of the Union Address” [Mark 13] regarding the Last Days:

7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
